This will be a night focused on support for and education on adoption and orphan care. Join us outside for a night of worship with excellent worship teams and Mark Schultz. We will also have booths for the many organizations that work toward a similar mission on all sides of orphan care - trauma training, adoption, foster care, etc. and see how you can be involved. See how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. This will be a night of education, a great worshipful concert, food trucks, booths, etc. all in person and outside. It will be a great time for families to spend together!
So plan for a family night, invite a small group of friends, and join with a body of believers in order to make a difference! Each participating organization will be receiving a gift donation for participating. We hope you will find your role in orphan care too!
This year's theme is One Church: One Adoption. There are approximately 400,000 children waiting to be adopted in the US. There are approximately 400,000 churches in the US. If every church would rally around one family, to support one adoption per church, the domestic orphan crisis would be alleviated. It would be wiped out. Why don't we do that together? It starts with awareness! So mark your calendars and claim your tickets today!
One of our partners, Lost Sparrows, is holding a trauma conference the following day (September 25th), on the campus of Grace College. Lost Sparrows Trauma Conference is designed for foster/adoptive parents, teachers, and anyone that works with children, but especially children that have experienced developmental trauma.
